Lone Tree after E.S. Curtis metal print by Art Enrico. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
I believe Curtis, in his writings, referred to Lone Tree as a "medicine man". A more accurate representation would have been shaman. "Medicine man" suggests Lone Tree would have been primarily involved in the healing arts. A shaman's primary function is to act as an intermediary between the physical world and the world of the spirit. The realms of thought, trance, and dreams are the realms of the shaman.
