Artist's Description
This is the first painting of a triptych. These paintings were based on three small photographs of my wife’s sister as an infant. Immediately upon seeing the photographs, I realized that they comprised a narrative. I think the titles of the paintings speak for themselves. People can interpret them for themselves. (The other paintings in the triptych are “The Calling” and “And So It Begins.” The originals are available only as the set of 3.)
